Greetings everyone!
I have not been posting for a while due to conflicting events and activities.
But, last week…
Last week was especially considerable.

Background Information:
So a few months ago, my brother(Aurique Ullas)and I applied to the K12 Innovation competition with 4 ideas, Oopslab, Finantic, Syentific Brainrot, and Gleeki.
Finantic was an app that teaches students how to manage money and investments appropriately, so they have a well-structured financial balance for their future endeavors.
Syentific Brainrot was created as a dictionary for students to reference when they didn’t understand a concept. This is not an ordinary dictionary; it uses brainrot to help students feel more connected to the concept and understand it. The dictionary entries are supplied by classmates and peers.
Gleeki is a model where you can snap a picture of anything, and you will get a visualization image showing how the object actually functions scientifically, showing gravity, pressure, biological details(for organisms), chemical composition and more.
(An application I just thought of right now was Gleeki Glasses, Meta Glasses but better! Analyze the world in real time scientifically.)
Oopslab is an application whee students can upload their failures, other students can help review the failures, it helps imply to students that failure is not something to throw away, it’s something to use and learn from. Oopslab also helps teachers analyze a classroom to find where they are failing and how they can help.
Anticipation
We waited…
And waited..
Then…
The results for the initial pick were out!
We checked, and realized..
We were on the initial list!
Which idea?
Oopslab.
Then, we got an email asking us to prepare for the semifinals.
We had to create a presentation and present it to some judges, and if we did good, we would be in the national finals.
The day came..
We had to go into a Zoom meeting and present it.
It went quite well.
The Time Has Come
We checked the results.
We did it!
We were finalists!
Then, we got an email.
We, on June 11th, had to go to Stride Headquarters in Virginia, 5 hours away from where I live.
The Good Stuff…
The day came quickly..
June 10th
My family packed their bags, and we had a 5-hour road trip right to Virginia.
We arrived at the hotel.
With the other finalists.
That night, I couldn’t sleep.
I kept on tossing and turning but it never came, it felt like the night was going to last forever.
I felt energized, at 3:00 AM sometime, I went to the gym, after doing a workout, I was able to sleep.
The next day, June 11th, my family piled into the car and headed to Stride headquarters, on the stop, I kept on getting shockers, first, I saw a MICROSOFT OFFICE, then, an ORACLE OFFICE, it was like Silicon Valley.
When I got to the headquarters, a person led me to the 9th floor where I got to see the rest of the finalists.
There was a KITCHEN in the waiting room, lots of snacks, a board room with an intern and a wall with a PERIODIC TABLE, there were whiteboards EVERYWHERE.
Then.
The presentation came.
We had to present Oopslab in front of the judges and audience.
I was nervous.
But, It went well.
